Talking doesn’t get your rice cooked.
I’ve always said that one of my dream jobs would be to shoot lifestyle and product photographs for brands that I admire but until recently, they remained words. I decided to put my aspirations into practice, and shot these photographs as if I were shooting a product photoshoot for Innocent Smoothies.
It was definitely a different type of photography to what I’m used to. Keeping the product as the centrepiece whilst keeping the scene natural and candid is a lot harder than it looks. To my surprise however, I got a few suitable pictures and although it wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned, it was a start.
Talking won’t get the rice cooked, but boiling the water just might.
