Falling leaves return to their roots.
Coming from a small, non-traditional family, I am far removed from the culture and practices that come from being part of the South Asian community.
It was a joy to observe the customs and traditions that play such a huge part in Indian culture. It surprised me to see how large his family was - as a support system they will be there for them throughout their married life, and that is something to be treasured.
Although we all have our biological families, many of us go onto choose our own families, from the friends we make to the partners that we choose. Whoever they are, we will always return back to the ones that we love.
