To want to get fat, with only one bite.
As humans, we are impatient for success. Most of us start with the best intentions but after facing the first hurdle, falter and slow down. Doubts and the pressures of life can crowd the mind and we can settle for things that we never really wanted in the first place. But as the proverb says, we cannot get fat with only one bite, or as others may put it, Rome was not build in a day.
Consistency and persistence show results, and although it may sometimes feel like wasted effort it never truly is. My resolution when I started photography was to uphold these two traits, whether that be from seeking out new clients and opportunities, to taking and uploading photographs.
Whether it will work or not remains to be determined, but my fingers and toes will forever be crossed.
